Gospel Producers Going to “Church” for First Film

Ja Rule and Adrienne Bailon will topline faith-based urban drama “I’m in Love with a Church Girl,” the debut feature from indie producer Reverence Gospel Media. Project’s based on the story of Galley Molina, head of Reverence, with Steve Race (”The Beach House”) directing from a script by Galley. Lensing is slated to begin May 10 in San Jose, Ca. Story will center on a retired high level drug trafficker who is now legitimate but still loyal to his circle of friends and former colleagues. When he meets the girl of his dreams, he’s faced with the decision of holding on to the old ways of his past or letting go.
