  1. Kudos to the harold washington cultural center for bringing such a fabulous broadway musical to the south side of Chicago! Mr. Ruffin, thanks for producing and directing! Everyone moment of the production was filled with amazing entertainment. The Seniors were given a chance to see the show Wednesday morning and they LOVED IT! We'll be spreading the word.

  2. I just seen the show this past weekend I was blown away by the cast - especially the lady who play Effie SHE'S 19 YRS OLD - WOW , I'll be looking for her on BROADWAY!! Can't wait for the next production - was my first time at the Cultural Arts Center - what a beautiful place and the staff was Very Friendly Sincerely Dianne Wilson

  3. The good: I really enjoyed the play DREAMGIRLS at the Harold Washington Cultural Center. The actors/singers, stage crew, sound, and direction were fantastic. Seating was especially good.
    The bad: When the men and women danced, they all dance like girls. Sadly, the audience laughed.
