Xoregos Performing Company presents Richard Caulfeild Goodman’s RESISTANCE 2/7 & 2/14 (NYC)

In celebration of Black History Month,
Xoregos Performing Company
presents a staged reading of
Richard Caulfeild Goodman’s
RESISTANCE,
a play about the Christiana riot of 1851 and the notorious Fugitive Slave Act.
Directed by Shela Xoregos, the actors are Denise Lock, Lawrence Merritt, Jesse Kearney, Cecilia Foreman, Brian Coffey, Gabriela Trigo-McIntyre, Stephen Wright and Andrew R. Cooksey. The play will be presented two Saturdays at
Tompkins Square Library
February 7 at 3:00 PM
on 10 Street near Avenue B
and on
February 14 at 3:00 PM
at the
125 Street Library
near Third Avenue, Manhattan.
Admission is free, no reservations are needed.
