The Organization of Black Screenwriters (OBS) is now accepting entries for its new Night at the Movies - Short Film Showcase which showcases short films created by OBS members and local writer/filmmakers - writer/directors – writer/producers. They have two more showcases scheduled for 2008 – Thursday, September 25th 7 – 10 PM and Thursday, November 20th 7 – 10 PM. Deadline for September showcase is September 15th & for November showcase is November 10th. The Writer/Filmmaker must be able to attend the Night at the Movies for film to be screened.
