Casting Call

The National Black Theatre in association with Orisha Tales Rep Radio Theatre Co is seeking NON-UNION actors who dance, and /or move well to audition for the Yoruba Dance Drama, OSHUN (THE GODDESS OF LOVE).

Male and female roles available from ages 20 through 60. African Americans, Afro-Latinos and Afro-Asians welcome.
Male roles:
ELEGBA- The Orisha of the Cross roads, OGUN- The Orisha of Iron, IKU- The Orisha of Death, ORUNMILA- The Orisha of Divination, AGANJU- The Orisha of The Volcano, OCHOSSI- The Orisha of The Hunt, and various Farmers and Warriors
Female Roles:
AGEMO- The Chameleon, OYA- The Orisha of the Cemetery, YEMOJA- The Orisha of the Ocean. The AJE- The Witches, WOMEN WARRIORS, and TOWNSPEOPLE.
The production runs from April15, 2010 until May7, 2010.
Auditions are Monday March 15, 20210 from 4pm until 9pm at 2033 5th Ave bet 125 and 126th St
Bring headshot and resume and be prepared with a one minute monologue.
Bring or wear clothing that you can dance in.
