For the record, as of January 1st, 2012, The African American Playwrights Exchange has begun it's 6th year on earth and in cyberspace.
AAPEX is now a division of The Nashville Dramaturgy Project.
The other divisions are:
F.L.A.G. - The Foreign Language Acting Group
SWT - The Southern Writers' Theatre
STN - The Singers' Theatre of Nashville
