I have a theatrical work out space and my goal is to build, grow and maintain an ensemble of actors by meeting weekly and develop new works, create characters and improvisational skits for stage and film as well as a Monologue Slam and invite industry professionals. This is the place to work out… while we look build our larger theatre.
The Ensemble will also work with at-risk youth (girls & boys) and develop writing and acting skills through theatre games, and character building.
I will be auditioning for ensemble members every Thursday in April 2012 from 7-9 pm and start building a troupe that will work on improv, read plays, perform 10 minutes plays, create a webisode and various other theatrical events, work on character building, historical characters, The Cotton Club Review for tour, and all other ideas. Be ready, willing, and able to work on productions and for hire. All ages, races, etc., welcome. Feel free to pass along to aspiring and well established actors who love to work.
